I am the local Tutor Doctor owner/educational consultant. I was born and raised in Saskatoon and hold a Business and Computer degree from Trent University, in Ontario. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age and struggled with school. I did not have supports that are available today. I wish there was Tutor Doctor in Saskatoon when I was a student in school.

My goal is to provide students with support that was not available when I was a kid. I believe that with the proper support, every student can be their very best. Tutoring can increase the confidence and happiness of students. School should be a positive experience and successful!

My name is Chantal Gauthier, and I am the Educational Coach for Tutor Doctor Saskatoon. I have been with the company for 9 years. My belief is that every student can learn given the right tools. As such I share my knowledge with all our tutors so that they may help their students find both the joy in learning and become the best they can be.

I have taught both in the general classroom and home school. I have an Honours B.Sc in Psychology, as well in Education. I am also a certified Special Education teacher and have a master’s degree in special education. I specialize in math and reading intervention at the elementary level, but have also worked with students on ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
