I have more than 20 years of business experience here in Central Indiana. After graduating from Purdue University with a BS in Industrial Engineering, I spent seven years with UPS in various roles from engineering and management to operations and delivery. I transitioned into education in 2011, where I launched and directed the Logistics Training & Education Center (LTEC) for Vincennes University in Plainfield, Indiana. I was accountable for academic programming for 10 years and we served more than 3,000 students who were pursuing workforce development and job readiness training, industry certifications, and academic courses leading to associate degrees in Supply Chain & Logistics Management (SCLM). My experience from engineering to management to education to leadership has helped prepare our team to be in the best position possible to help your student. My wife and I have three students in the Hamilton Southeastern School District, so I understand the challenges our students are facing today with uncertainty, eLearning, and technology. I also understand the challenges parents are facing with juggling our own work responsibilities and managing our children’s education. I have deep respect for Indiana’s teachers and school administrators, especially as education continues to evolve.
