Tutor Doctor Central Toronto has been helping students in our city since 2011. As part of the Tutor Doctor network, a Toronto based company, we work to change the trajectories of students’ lives by providing one-to-one academic support. Most of our activity is with students from Kindergarten to grade 12, but we work with university students, and adults as well. Each student-tutor match receives the same level of care and follow up.

We begin our process with a conversation with the family and student. It’s important to get to know you, and for you to know us. Together, we develop a plan for your studies, and then select a tutor from our group who will be ready to support you.

he primary focus of tutoring is the student’s academic requirements, but we also work with students to improve time-management skills and study habits that extend beyond the current course.

Tutor Doctor in the Community

In addition to individual families, Tutor Doctor regularly provides services to Children’s Aid Society, Catholic Children’s Aid Society, and Native Child and Family Services.

We have participated in many community fairs, sponsored local sports teams like the Leaside Wildcats, and Toronto Soccer Club. We have also hosted summer events for students at the Toronto Zoo and other venues.

Tutor Doctor Central Toronto has happily offered tutoring to many less privileged students in the Start2Finish program, a Toronto-based charity created to improve athleticism and literacy for youth.
