Hello, I am Joan Bennett from Tutor Doctor, and I am a believer in lifelong learning. I grew up here in the greater Canton area and have lived in Stark and Tuscarawas counties. As a child, I had adults that encouraged me to be curious and learn. Consequently, I have enjoyed a career in medical device marketing working with physicians, medical personnel, and colleagues to address problems and help develop products that provide solutions. Now, I desire to focus my efforts on providing solutions to students, hoping to inspire lifelong learning for them and giving back to my community.

Hello, I’m Joan Bennett, a proud alumna of The Ohio State University and a passionate advocate for lifelong learning. Hailing from the vibrant Canton area, my upbringing was shaped by adults who fostered my curiosity and instilled a love for continuous education. Having resided in Stark and Tuscarawas counties for most of my life, I’ve cultivated a deep connection to our community.
My professional journey led me to a fulfilling career in medical device marketing, collaborating with physicians, medical professionals, and colleagues to develop innovative solutions. Now, my focus is on contributing to the educational landscape, channeling my expertise to provide solutions for students. I aspire to inspire a love for lifelong learning in the next generation while giving back to the community that has given me so much.
As a graduate of The Ohio State University, my heart beats scarlet and gray, and outside of the academic realm, I find joy in cheering for OSU and Browns football, indulging in baseball, and exploring the world on my bicycle. I’ve even conquered the 101-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail multiple times, raising funds to support our regional gem. Join me on this journey of education, community, and a shared love for the thrill of the game!
