Dr. Scott Harring

Tutor

Hello…my name is Scott Harring, aka Dr. Scott. I have been with Tutor Doctor since September of 2022. I am known as Dr. Scott as I received my Ph.D. in chemistry, specializing in organic synthesis, from the University of Minnesota in 1992. I obtained my B.S. degree, majoring in chemistry, from Michigan Technological University in 1986. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 20 years devising processes to manufacture active drug substances. I have been tutoring general chemistry, AP chemistry, organic chemistry, and algebra since 2016. In 2020 I began to focus my efforts toward assisting younger learners who had fallen several grade levels behind. I currently tutor children in grades K-12, and particularly enjoy watching children grow in knowledge and building their skills to enhance their ability to learn.

Tutor

My name is NaTacia Zaricor. I am a mother of two. I am a certified teacher for special education K-12 and Elementary 1-6. I am currently working on my masters for Educational Psychology. I specialize in working with students who are twice-exceptional, have ADHD and/or Autism across many academic topics. I have been teaching for 5 years now and I have a strong belief in meeting a student where they are at in their learning. It’s important to build a student’s confidence that even in their learning struggles they can still accomplish.

Britney Boston

Tutor

Hi! I’m Britney Boston and I’m a private tutor with Tutor Doctor. I have about 3 years of private tutoring experience and 2 years of teaching experience in the classroom. My primary focus of education is on the following subjects: Spanish, Math, and ELA. I have oodles of experience helping students with X-skills such as organizational skills, productive study habits, test-taking skills, etc. These are some of my predominant abilities but I also can help with other subject matters as well including biology and physics given that a student needs multidisciplinary help. I’m enthusiastic about learning and I love guiding students and helping them grow as independent-thinkers. It’s not about what we don’t know; it’s about what we’re willing to learn.
